Only one minute. One minute and it will all be over. Netto can’t believe it, he doesn’t want to. After fighting so hard, after all they went through and now…just a few seconds remain until all of them are done for. It’s frustrating, in the end, none of them could do anything about it. Duo’s asteroid is in his way to earth, and there’s no stopping it now. They failed.
Netto stands there, trembling and bitting his lips in an effort to not cry. At the very least he would like to be able to smile and laugh for the last time, but he can’t. Beside him, Enzan seems to be able to keep his cool even in a situation like this. Netto wishes he could be as calm as he is, or at least to be able to not tremble like he is now. He wants to say something to the other boy, like how much he means to him, or thank him for all the good moments, yet he can’t seem to find his voice.

Only 30 seconds remain.

He tries opening his mouth but all that comes out is a tiny sob. He swallows and tries again, but stops when hhe feels a warmth enveloping around his hand. He looks down and sees Enzan squeezing his hand. He doesn’t hesitate to return the gesture. Netto finally finds his voice, but it comes out slightly choked. 
"Enzan, the world is going to end."

"Yeah I know."

"Enzan, I’m really scared."

"I know" He squeezes Netto’s hand harder, just when 5 seconds remain, and Netto is sure his voice is trembling "I am too."
