Whenever I see someone reblog one of those “Why would you say mean things about all white people/men/cishets/able people/other privileged groups” - you know, the unironic “we all bleed red” posts - I go on their blog and scroll through and see if I can find a SINGLE post on their blog which is about actively supporting the oppressed minority they were just whining about “hating” them.

Guess what?

I have never found a single one. Ever. Sure, these people care, and maybe they genuinely deeply believe in equality for all, but they only give enough of a shit to hit the reblog button or to make a post or to do anything at all when there’s some whiny post about their feelings.

So yeah, not all people who are part of a privileged group are bad people. But if you spend all your fucking time whining about these meanies who supposedly thing that, I’m going to go straight ahead and assume you are.
