So, a lot of people I know are up in arms over this whole Hobby Lobby/Obamacare/Birth Control thing. Especially down here in the South where we really, really love Jesus. They keep screaming that Hobby Lobby is a Christian corporation and they should not have to provide birth control to their employees because it’s against their beliefs. Freedom of Speech gives you the right to worship whatever you want. Want to worship Jesus? Awesome. Think Lionel Trains are the key to fun times in heaven? Also awesome. Does your cat do it for you? That’s great. Want to believe in nothing at all? Rad. This freedom does not give you the right to push your beliefs on anyone else. You cannot make me worship your train set nor your cat and I can’t make you believe nothing. This is one of those “Your rights end where mine begin” things. And if Hobby Lobby is allowed to not give birth control to it’s workers because, apparently, corporations are people now (who go to church every Sunday and Wednesday and tithe 10%?), it is going to set a very, very ugly precedent.

I swear to God, this is just like that guy from Duck Dynasty thing all over again where people kept screaming “FREEDOM OF SPEECH”. Your “Freedom of Speech” lets you say what you want (including speaking out against the government and the president), it doesn’t protect you from the backlash of looking like an idiot.
