happy little things

• little wet pawprints on my floor because a curious cat always likes to jump into the shower after i’m done and lick the wet walls
• dancing around my living room to stevie wonder (sir duke, if you must know) while brushing my teeth in the morning
• clean countertops, clean baseboards, clean floors, bags of clothes and other things waiting to be donated
• the burning of a favorite candle
• twinkle lights strung across my bed’s headboard
• snuggling up with a favorite blanket
• pistachio gelato
• late-night ihop pancakes and conversations
• morning and evening calls with my mom every day

learning to find joy in the smallest of things is truly the best way to ensure growing happiness.
