That no matter how hard you try, in the end, 
it doesn’t change the fact that they can’t love you back 
the way you want them to.

If your answer is no, 
then don’t say that you understand, 
because, you don’t.

You don’t understand the hurt I have gone through.
You don’t understand the bitterness I feel.
You don’t understand the sorrow or the pain.
You don’t understand a thing. Anything.

So, until the day when you have to force yourself to smile 
for that one person you love and say “I’m happy for you.” 

Until that day, don’t say that you understand.

Because, clearly, you don’t.
And you will never do.
